It's been a while

So I know that it has been a while since I have written anything on here, but I have many reasons for my lack of posting. Nathan and I have moved back into the apartments that we lived in before Preston left, although this time we are in a 3 bed 2 bath with about 200 more sq ft. My mom and Jana (Preston's mom) flew down to Florida to help me unpack everything and get all moved in. Some great family I have!!!! Today I just finished, with the help of some friends, hanging the last things up on the walls. Our place finally looks like a home. Preston SHOULD be back on Wednesday, which means I only have about 5 more days left until he is home. It has been such a long time and I miss him so much. I still cry when I hear songs on the radio or online even though I know that it is only a few more days now. We have some fun things planned for when he gets back. We are going to go to a Yankees vs Tampa baseball game, we are going to go up to our aunt and uncles house for the 4th of July and spend sometime with them out at the lake. We are going to go to a friends wedding out on a yatch in Tampa Bay. All of this sounds so exciting to me, but the only thing that I really care about is spending time with Preston. Him and Nathan are going to have such a great time together swimming in the pool and Preston will be able to see all the new things that Nathan has started doing since he left. I am just so happy to be having him come home. I will make sure to let everyone know how it goes. We love you all!

WOW

I just found out that I received both A's in my classes that I just finished. I am very happy about that. Like my mom said it's because I'm not being forced to go. I am really enjoying it and so far doing well in my new classes that I started on the 20th. Just thought I would share.

School

School has always been my least favorite of things. Most of the time I thought everything I learned was pretty useless. Well as some of you know I started school again back in February. I take two classes at a time for a nine week period. I finished my first set of classes on Sunday. I actually had a good time 'going' to school. I have gotten one of my grades back so far and it was an A. I'm very happy to say that because all throughout high school I didn't really get A's. I'm still waiting on my grade from my other class, but I'm pretty sure it will be an A too. Since my classes ended on Sunday my new classes started on Monday. I am now taking a history class and effective essay writing. I just happen to be taking my two least favorite subjects together. Who planned that one? but at least I'm getting them out of the way in the beginning. These classes will end on June 21 so nine more weeks and I'll have my other set of grades. I just need to keep up the good work for a couple more YEARS. haha

My Wonderful Husband

So I got to see Preston today on Skype. It was so great to be able to see him and to be able to see expressions on his face. It just made me miss him so much more then I already do. He got to see Nathan play with his cars and play with Charlie and everything else that he has been doing. I got to show him where we are living. It was so nice to be able to do that for him. Nathan would point at him and say daddy. It was so sweet. Preston just kept smiling when he saw Nathan and it made me feel so good. He looked really good and said that he is doing well too.

This Weekend

So this weekend has been very good. On Friday I took Nathan to the doctors because I thought something was wrong with him, but come to find out I was wrong (thankfully). So he is perfect, I mean perfectly healthy. He turned out to be 35'' tall and 26 lbs. The doctor said that he is going to be tall and skinny. Imagine that with Preston and I being the parents. haha But I still think that there is something wrong with him though and a friend told me his 2 year molars. Anyway so after Nathan's appointment we went to the vet for Charlie's appointment. The vet said that he looks very healthy. He weights 46.8 lbs and is only 5 months old. Anyway after that we went over to Kelly and Patty's house (my aunt and uncle from my dad's side). Nathan, Donovan, and Cassidy, went swimming in the pool for a while and then went inside and played. Preston called while all the kids were playing together. I got to talk to him for about an hour and it was so great. Hearing his voice really makes me miss him and makes me wish he was here even more then usual. After that the Carroll family, the Porter family, and Nathan and I went to Gators for dinner. My wonderful aunt and uncle wanted to take us out to dinner because they say I do so much for them and they want to take care of us. They are very good people and have really helped Preston, Nathan and I out ever since we came out here to Florida. After dinner we went back to Kelly and Patty's and watched Slum Dog Millionar. It was a pretty good movie.
Saturday we all went to Donovan's soccer game, which they should have won but they tied. After that we went out to lunch and then back to their house for more playing. The boys played all day and when it was time for dinner we went down to one of Kelly and Patty's neighbors house. The twins were there so Donovan, the twins, and Kelly played in the pool while the BBQ was going on. Lou, Patty and I put Nathan in their hot tub and were teaching him how to swim. He did really well and didn't even swallow any water. I was so darn proud of him. We had a fabolus dinner and after the kids went up stairs to play. The twins gave Nathan a fire truck and a police car. It was so nice of them and how they did it. Nathan actually said firetruck though and that is why they wanted to give it to him; they thought that he would really like it since he could say the words.
Sunday is just starting but I already know that it is just going to be a relaxing day. Nathan slept horrible last night so I have a feeling he will be taking a couple long naps. Preston has the night off today so he said that he was going to call me and hopefully he will be able to get on the computer and we can chat on the webcam. That would be really nice because I miss seeing him and since he doesn't have a camera over there I haven't seen more then a couple of seconds of him on the webcame back in the beginning of Feb. Anyway just thought we would share a little bit of what we did this weekend.

Was I really dreaming?

So as most of you know I have turned Nathan's crib into a day bed. He is doing really well with it too. He doesn't climb out and he doesn't usually fall out either. Well last night I was having a dream about him and the bed. Well after I finished 'dreaming' I woke up and just started cuddling with Nathan as if everything were fine. Then I thought to myself, "Is Nathan really in my bed?" Sure enough, even though I had put him to sleep in his bed that night, he some how ended up in my bed at 2:30 am watching TV. It was so funny, well not at the moment, that he had actually got out of his bed, came into my room, climbed up on my bed, and just sat there watching TV for who knows how long and I didn't even notice any of it. I was so tired that I didn't put him back in his bed like I should have, but I thought since he made all that effort and didn't get caught why not let him stay the night. HAHA Just thought I would share my little bedtime experience with you. Enjoy the day!

HOMEWORK

AHH so I just finished my final project for my business class. From the specs that we were given it did not seem like too much work, but I feel like my brain is totally dead right now and it didn't even take me that long. I thought that I would take a break and find something else to do for a little while so my brain could cool off. Now all I have to do is go and write a 1,000 to 1,250 word student survival guide on the things I learned in my other class. Doesn't that sounds like loads of fun? Well at least I can look forward to going back to California in about 18 days. I'm pretty excited about that and I get to spend Mother's Day with my mom and my son, so that will be special. It will be nice to go back and not have all this humidity that we have been having here in good ole Florida. The closer I get to going back to California, the closer I get to having Preston get back. Gosh I'm so excited I can hardly take it. I get butterflies in my stomach every time I think about him and him coming home. YAY! Okay well it's back to homework for this girl!
